Microsoft Excel – Understanding Spreadsheets is a 1-hour webinar focusing on Excel spreadsheets. It will provide you with the knowledge you need to create functional spreadsheets to manipulate large quantities of data, along with instruction in how to use some of Excel’s fantastic tools to gain extreme efficiency.

Topics covered in this webinar include Excel rows and columns grid, spreadsheets vs worksheets, how to select data, formatting tools, basic sorting and filtering, dynamic vs constant data, and a variety of keyboard shortcuts for Excel. Real-world examples will be used to demonstrate the fundamentals instructed within this webinar.

Learning-objectives: Upon completion of this webinar, you will have learned extremely efficient tools to:

• Navigate within an Excel Spreadsheet and between worksheets
• Select adjacent or nonadjacent, multi-worksheet, or range-based data
• Freeze panes to lock rows and columns to keep an area visible in the worksheet
• Sort data to better organize and analyze data
• Filter data to focus on the information you wan
